How can we bridge the divide within ourselves and with others? This foundational question lies at the heart of our work.

We are CSM Our work, the Restorative Photography & Writing Program, has deep roots in the award-winning work of program lead, Saskia Keeley, who spent her early career documenting the profoundly transformational work of humanitarian groups around the globe and over a decade ago went on to create and develop her first Accompagnateur portrait photography workshop series in the West Bank in collaboration with the Roots humanitarian group, helping Palestinian and Israeli settler women caught in the cycle of community conflict discover a new way of seeing one another.

These workshops, which promote the use of the camera not as a weapon, as Gordon Parks once suggested, but as an olive branch, have had much success not only for divided communities to connect disparate parties but also within justice-impacted communities around the world to foster participants' acceptance of the past, allowing them to meet the present with confidence, and move into the future with newfound agency.

Beginning in January 2026, Saskia joined forces with award-winning fine art photographer, creative director and exhibition curator, Maura Sullivan, and former New York Times editor, author and TEDx speaker and coach, Camille Sweeney, to form CSM Collectwe, inviting them in to reimagine ways of applying her profound methodology to deliver hope and community-wide optimism through the powerful transformative process of artful photographic portraiture, the healing self-reflective experience of the written word and raising much-needed public awareness through impactfully-curated accompanying exhibitions.Collective, artivist humanitarians.
